The Franklin County Republican Party hosted its convention Friday night, rallying its members and potential candidates to what they hope are victories in the coming election.
Party members and their guests filled placard lined pews at the Hamilton Hobgood Courthouse Annex as candidates for the Sheriff’s Office, Board of Commissioners, the state Senate and House of Representatives, and U.S. Congress gave speeches, hoping to gain favor from their peers.
