WAKING UP TO A WINTER STORM
Friday night’s snowfall had Franklin County waking up to a white-blanketed landscape.
The snow turned to sleet Saturday morning and is suppose to continue throughout the day.
Crews were out early clearing roads and there was little to no other traffic on the roads other than area landscapers and handymen headed with tractors and backhoes to clear parking lots for local businesses.
As of noon Saturday, Franklin County Emergency Services reported no storm-related incidents.
