LOUISBURG - Annie Irene Ayscue, 88, of the Alert Community, died Sunday morning, Aug. 2, 2015. A graveside service was held Tuesday, Aug. 4, at the Pernell family cemetery. The family received friends immediately following the service.

LOUISBURG - Evelyn Marshall Bumgarner, 85, of 875 Alert Rd, died Monday morning. She was the daughter of the late John and Minnie Journigan Marshall. Mrs. Bumgarner retired from Franklin County Department of Social Service with 30 years of service.
