Breaking News: House fire victim identified

YOUNGSVILLE -- Authorities have identified a woman who was killed in a house fire earlier this month.
The state Medical Examiner's Office identified the 29-year-old woman as Kristin Faith Amerson.
Authorities said she died from injuries sustained in the Dec. 1 fire at 80 Hidden Hills Drive near Youngsville.
Authorities believe the fire began in the kitchen and Amerson's body was found in the living room area.

DURHAM - Martha Anne Berry Noel, 56, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015 at Duke Hospital in Durham. A celebration of Martha's life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, in the chapel at Trinity Avenue Presbyterian Church, 927 W. Trinity Avenue, Durham. A reception will follow.
