HOLLISTER, NC-Funeral services for Burwell R. Hedgepeth, age 73, who died on Thursday May 12, 2016 will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2016 at 2 p.m. from the White Rock Baptist Church in Hollister, with Pastor Alonzo West, officiating. Burial will follow in the Old White Rock Church Cemetery.

FRANCES "TINY" FINCH VASSAR

LOUISBURG--Frances "Tiny" Finch Vassar, 82, died at her home on May 10, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She was actively involved with the ministry of South Main Baptist Chapel, Wake Forest, NC for almost 32 years, along with her husband, Pastor Gary Vassar. Together, the two of them founded the church in 1984. A woman of strong Christian faith, Frances witnessed regularly and led many souls to the Lord Jesus Christ.
