YOUNGSVILLE - David Christopher Pearce, 46, died Monday, Jan. 23, 2017. Funeral service will be held Thursday, Jan. 26, at 2 p.m. at Saint Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Raleigh, with a graveside service to follow at Pine Forest Memorial Garden, Wake Forest.

JEAN C. SEWALL

WAKE FOREST - Jean Otilia Casanova Sewall, 90, of Wake Forest, NC, formerly of Palm Harbor, Florida, departed her earthly life on Monday, January 23, 2017 at her home at Brookdale of Wake Forest. She was born August, 17, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY, but grew up in the Washington, DC area. She graduated from Roosevelt High School with honors in 1944 and won a full scholastic scholarship to George Washington University. She graduated in 1948 from GWU with an AA and BA degrees from the College of Liberal Arts.

FRANKLINTON--Sarah Alice Pearce Stevens, 88, of Raleigh, formerly of Franklinton, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 27, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery, 1245 Mt. Olivet Church Road, Franklinton, with the Rev. Carl Hunter officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall.
