JANIEC MARIE DURHAM

LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Janice Marie Durham, 62, who died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, will be held Saturday, Jan. 27, at 2 p.m. at Gospel Unlimited Church of Christ Disciples in Castalia, with Bishop Johnny Alston officiating. Burial will follow in the Gospel Unlimited Church cemetery.

HOLLISTER--Funeral services for Libby M. Hedgepeth, 89, who died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, will be held Thursday, Jan. 25, at 1 p.m. at Pine Chapel Baptist Church in Hollister, with the Rev. Felix Petteway officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Chapel Memorial Garden.

SAMUEL FOSTER

LOUISBURG--Samuel Foster, 74, of Louisburg, son of the late Robert Lee and Mary Francis Foster, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018. A funeral service was held Monday, Jan. 22, at Haywood Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery with Military Honors.

WILLIE H. WILLIAMS

FRANKLINTON --Willie H. Williams died on Friday, January 19, 2018, at Rose Manor in Durham. He had a birthday January 10th when he became 97 years old. He was a veteran of World War II. He was drafted at the age of twenty-one and served in Europe. He served in four major battles earning 4 bronze stars, including Normandy D+1.
