SANDRA B. THARRINGTON
September 25, 1945 – March 6, 2009

LOUISBURG – Sandra Burnette Tharrington, 63, of Louisburg, passed away Friday night.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Glinwood B. Burnette. She was a member of Saints Delight Baptist Church where she played the piano.

Funeral service was 2 p.m. Monday at Saint’s Delight Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wesley Mayfield and the Rev. Wes Bailey officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 44 years, Wayne Tharrington; sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Christy Tharrington, Shane and Kristine Tharrington; mother; Beanie L. Burnette; mother-in-law, Juanita D. Tharrington; grandchildren, Alicia and Chase Tharrington and Joshua White, all of Louisburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Franklin County Relay for Life, C/O Denise Gupton, 187 Swanson Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family received friends 7 – 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg.
