COLEY A. DIXON
RALEIGH - Coley A. Dixon, 38, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at his home. A graveside service was conducted Thursday, March 26, in Pinewood Memorial Park in Greenville.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, March 28) at Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church in Raleigh, and at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 29, at Sedalia Baptist Church in Big Island, Va.

He was born in Pitt County and was raised in Raleigh. He was a microbiologist and chemist.

Surviving: wife, Alissa, and son, Nicolas; parents, Willis and Lynn Dixon, and Carolyn and Don McNeill; brother, Eddie Dixon of Raleigh; stepbrother, Tim McNeill of Louisburg; grandmother, Rosalyn Vandiford of Greenville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sedalia Baptist Church Building Fund, 1072 Charlemont Road, Big Island, VA 24526.
