DELMAS P. HUDSON
WAKE FOREST - Master Sergeant (Retired) Delmas P. Hudson, 75, died Friday morning, April 10, 2009. Funeral services were conducted Monday, April 13, at Oak Level Christian Church, with the Rev. Gary Williams officiating. Burial followed in the Falls Community Cemetery.

He was born in Franklin County, the son of the late Myrtha Davis Hudson and Joe Willie Hudson. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was employed full time for 34 years with the N.C. National Guard.

Surviving: wife, Yvonne Lassiter Hudson; daughter, Karen Height (James) of Wake Forest; son, Tim Hudson (Roxanne) of Franklinton; sisters, Ethel Winston (Willis) of Wake Forest, Sally Edwards (Jason) of Bladenboro and Mary “Snook” Turner (E.G.) of Youngsville; brothers, J. W. Hudson (Frances) of Wake Forest and Ben Hudson (Barbara) of Youngsville; and one granddaughter.
