CLORA B. AVERETTE
RALEIGH - Clora Britt Averette, 75, died Thursday, July 13, 2006 at Raleigh Rehabilitation and Convalescent Center. A Celebration of Life was held Sunday, July 16, at Crabtree Valley Baptist Church.

Born in Garner to Hubert and Allie Britt, she was a life-long resident of Wake County.

Mrs. Averette was predeceased by her parents and eldest sister, Esther Mae O’Daniel.

Surviving: her husband, E. Hunter Averette; daughters, Kathy Jones of Randleman, Becky Trevillian (Jim) of Youngsville, and Nancy Averette of Durham; a son, David (Dottie) Averette of Franklinton; a sister, Joyce Noblin of Garner; and seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crabtree Valley Baptist Church, 4408 Leadmine Rd., Raleigh, NC 27612, or to Heartland Hospice, 3117 Poplarwood Ct., Suite 114, Raleigh, NC 27604.
