E. M. FRIEDRICHS
YOUNGSVILLE - E. M. (Nick) Friedrichs died Thursday, June 18, 2009 at his home in Franklin County. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 27, at 2 p.m. at Northlake Memorial Gardens, 11001 Alexanderana Road, Huntersville, N. C.

A native of Charleston, S. C., he was a U. S. Army veteran and was retired from Bell South Telecommunications.

Surviving: his wife Sheryl Townsend Friedrichs; sons, Derek Friedrichs, Marc Friedrichs and Kurt Friedrichs; stepdaughter, Dana Culp Wulfert; stepson, Noel Townsend; and brother, Myron Friedrichs.

He was preceded in death by his father, E.M. (Fritz) Friedrichs; his mother, Camilla Moore Friedrichs; and his stepson, Christian Townsend.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 25, from 6 until 8 p.m. in the parish hall of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 830 Durham Road, Wake Forest.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Duke Hospice, 4321 Medical Park Drive, Suite 101, Durham, NC 27704, or Heaven and Earth Animal Rescue    Team, P. O. Box 897, Youngsville, NC 27596.

Arrangements are by the Cremation Society of the Carolinas, 2205 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh.
