PATRICK MICHAEL GALLAGHER
ZEBULON - Patrick Michael Gallagher, 65, died Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Duke University Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas D.P. Gallagher and Mattie Russ Gallagher of Wilmington.

Surviving: his wife, Linda; son, Chris (Carolyn); daughter, Beth (Larry); six grandchildren; sister, Catherine Lee of Wilmington; one niece; two nephews.

Funeral mass will be today (Saturday, August 22, 2009)  at 9 a.m. at St. Eugene’s Catholic Church, 608 Lion’s Club Road, Wendell, with Father John Teguh-Raharjo, CICM officiating.

The family welcomes family and guests to their home after the funeral Mass for a light luncheon.

After a private family cremation, there will be a time for anyone who wishes to pay respects from 1 - 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory.

The family invites every one to attend an inurnment service at 1 p.m.  Monday, August 24, 2009 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington. A reception will be held following the ceremony.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park, Suite 10, Raleigh, NC 27615.
