RICHARD H. RAYBON
RALEIGH - Richard Howard Raybon, 71, died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009 at Wake Medical Center. A celebration of life memorial service was conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 7, at Calvary’s Cross Baptist Church, 1807 NC Highway 98, Louisburg, with Pastor Martin Pinnell officiating.

He was born in Wake County, the son of the late Mary Gray Raybon and Ebbie Lee Raybon. He was a self-employed business owner. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Lee Raybon.

Surviving: wife, Ida King Raybon; son, Harvey Hall of Louisburg; daughter, Risa Babeck (Robert) of Wendell; sister, Rixie Ann Williams of Wendell; and three grandchildren.

The family requests that no flowers be sent, instead they strongly suggest memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary’s Cross Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 125, Rolesville, NC 27571.
