RUTH STANLEY COLLIE
LOUISBURG - Ruth Stanley Collie, 92, died Thursday, October 8, 2009. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday from Lancaster Funeral Home and Cremation Services, with the Rev. Jack Carter and the Rev. Earl Dulaney officiating.

She is survived by her son, Tom Collie and wife, Helen; grandchildren, Teri Collie, Heather Collie of Louisburg, and Suzanne Taylor and husband, Jim of Charlotte; great-grandchildren, Emily, Peyton and Matthew Taylor; sister, Sarah McGraw of Aurora, Ill.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg, and at all other times at the home of Tom and Helen Collie, 109 Stratford Drive, Louisburg.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cedar Rock First Baptist Church, 4879 NC Hwy. 56 E., Castalia, NC 27816.
