SEAN M. HOLMBERG
LOUISBURG - Sean Michael Holmberg, 40, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009 at Duke University Medical Center after a 10-year battle with brain cancer. A vigil service was held at 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Wake Forest, following visitation. Also, visits will be held on Sunday, Nov. 15, at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mount Pleasant, Pa., from 1-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.

A mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Pius X Cemetery.

He was a supervisor for Menasha Corporation in Pennsylvania and Temple-Inland in North Carolina.

Surviving: wife, Jennifer Holmberg; children, Torianne Holmberg and Gunnar Holmberg; parents, Russell Holmberg and Philena Holmberg of Mount Pleasant, Pa.; brother, Robert Holmberg (Deidre) of Greensburg, Pa.; grandmothers, Gladys Zeughardt of Dysart, Pa., and Christine Huchko of Southwest, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center of Duke, DUMC, Box 3624, Durham, NC 27710.
