H. TRAVIS GUPTON
LOUISBURG - Haywood Travis Gupton, 31, of New Bern, formerly of Louisburg, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at Maple Springs Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Surviving: his wife, Mary Rideoutt Gupton of New Bern; parents, Jimmie R. and Dawn Gupton and Johnny and Gladys Aycock, all of Louisburg; sisters, Sherry Vaughan (Willard), Robbie Hunt (Mike), Danette Barnette, all of Louisburg, Beverly Gardner (Jeff) of Wake Forest, and Danelle Hicks (Scott) of Morehead City; brothers, Reece Gupton (Cindy), Joshua Gupton, and Bobby Ray Aycock (Kelly), all of Louisburg; grandmother, Onnie Pruitt of Louisburg; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Maple Springs Baptist Church, Cemetery Fund, 1938 NC Hwy. 56 E., Louisburg, NC 27549 or Red Bud Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1284 NC 58 Hwy., Castalia, NC 27816.

Arrangements handled by Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin St., Louisburg.
