PILOT - Hilda Pearce Medlin, 88, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, Feb. 13) at Pilot Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the Pearce family cemetery.
A native of Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late M. C. and Bertha Medlin Pearce. She was retired from ITT.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Dib” Medlin; son, Connie Mack Medlin; brother, Marshall Pearce; and sister, Melba Bunn.
Surviving: daughter, Joan M. Jones (Ronnie) of Pilot; son, Terry Medlin (Tammy); sisters, Sophia Privette of Pearces, Theresa Feiner (Ed) of Raleigh; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Flowers or memorials to Pilot Baptist Church or Amedisys Hospice are welcomed.
