ZEBULON - Edgar “Eddie” Roger Bunn III, 61, died Thursday, March 25, 2010. A memorial service was held Sunday at the Barbara S. Roberson gymnasium at Zebulon Middle School.
He was the son of the late Edgar Roger Bunn Jr. and the late Virginia Turner Bunn. After beginning his teaching career at Bunn High School, he tried various other pursuits before returning to teaching. He taught at Zebulon Middle School for the past 20 years.
Surviving: wife, Kimberly Coley Bunn; son, Edgar “Roger” Bunn IV; daughter, Virginia Kemp Bunn; sisters, Betty Donovan (Richard) of Ocean Isle Beach and Jean Waldo (Don) of Roxboro; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Zebulon, c/o Petway, Mills, and Pearson PA at 1014 N. Arendell Avenue, Zebulon, NC 27597.
