STEPHEN TURRENTINE
KITTRELL - Funeral services for Stephen “Lee Thomas” Turrentine, 72, who died Monday, March 22, 2010, were held Saturday, March 27, at Hawkins Chapel Baptist Church, 2199 Grove Hill Road, Franklinton, with the Rev. W. S. Taylor officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

He was born in Granville County to the late Leo Turrentine and Alma Turrentine Hilliard (Carl). He was retired from FO Day of Forestville, Md.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Earline Turrentine; one brother, Robert Turrentine; and one daughter, Tonya Scott.

Surviving: children, Deborah Turrentine of Washington, D.C., Thomasine Turrentine of Capitol Heights, Md., Steven Turrentine (Cassandra) of Waldorf, Md., Wayne Turrentine of Washington, D.C., Richard Turrentine of Clinton, Md., Teresa Brown (Ricardo) of Fort Washington, Md., Kimberly McClain (Darron) of White Plains, Md., and Kendrick Scott of North Carolina; sister, Dorothy Turrentine; and one brother, Vance Turrentine (Joanne) of Kittrell; 22 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are by Cutchins Funeral Home, Franklinton.
