PAUL A. BRODIE
COLUMBUS, GA - Ret. SFC Paul Alphonza Brodie, 67, died Friday, May 7, 2010 at St. Francis. Services were held Wednesday, May 12, at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home chapel, with Chaplain Gene Cook officiating.

He was born in Louisburg to the late Jim and Mary Brodie. He served as an infantryman in the U.S. Army where he served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He then worked for 19 years as a security officer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lena Brodie, and a brother, John Henry Brodie.

Surviving: wife, Carolyn Brodie; daughters, Paulette Colon Brodie of Naperville, Ill., and Veronica Wilkins (Silas) of Louisburg; sisters, Annabelle Perry and Dorothy Davis, both of Louisburg; brothers, Edward Brodie of Louisburg, James Brodie of Pueblo, Colo., and Bennie Brodie of New York; and four granddaughters.
