KAYE YOUNG COWHER
RALEIGH - Kaye Young Cowher, 54, of Raleigh, NC, died Friday July 23, 2010 at her home.  She was the daughter of the late Claude and Irene Young of Bunn, NC. 

Kaye is survived by her husband of 27 years, Bill Cowher; three daughters, Meagan Lyn, Lauren Marie and Lindsay Morgan; three sisters, Faye Young Miller and husband Matt of Ithaca, NY, Cathy Young Whealton and husband J.D. of New Bern, NC, and Margie Young Martin and husband Wayne of Bunn, NC. 

Kaye was a devoted mother to her three wonderful daughters. She and Bill were married April 9, 1983 in Ransdell Chapel Church, Bunn, NC, where a Celebration of Her Life was conducted by Dr. Jerry Sosebee, 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 26, 2010.  She was a graduate of North Carolina State University where she played Basketball under Coach Kay Yow and went on professionally to play for both the New York Stars and New Jersey Gems.

Memorial donations may be made in her memory to The Family Resources of PA, Stevenson Building, 141 S. Highland Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15206.

Cremation Society of the Carolinas is assisting the family.  Condolences may be expressed at Cremationsocietync.com.
