ANNA C. CHUGG
Anna (Jeri) Cleveland Chugg, 95, died November 9 at Wake Med in Cary. She was the daughter of the late Nina and Claude Cleveland of Covington, PA.

A memorial service will be held November 28 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lake Royale Club House, led by friends. She lived at Lake Royale for over 20 years. Four years ago, she moved to Jordan Oaks Independent Living in Cary.

Ms. Chugg came to North Carolina over 50 years ago when her husband was stationed at Cherry Point. She retired from I. E. DuPont in Kinston after working there 30 years.

After retirement, she moved to Lake Royale, where she was involved in various activities, including a Bridge Club, 50+ Club and Bunn Garden Club. She also served on the Board of Directors at Lake Royale.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Chugg, and one sister, Inez “Johnny” Cleveland Martin.

She is survived by one niece, Sue Martin Hanson of Rome, New York, and one nephew, Robert Martin of Galeton, PA.
