ADA L. PERRY
ZEBULON - Ada Lockleair Perry, 91, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, Dec. 4) at Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church, 4525 Hopkins Chapel Road, Zebulon, with the Rev. Earl Roach and the Rev. Glenn Brock officiating. Burial will be in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the church.

She was a retired supervisor with  General Sportswear, retiring with 30 years of service.

Surviving: daughter, Carolyn P. “Gene” Marshburg of Wendell; brother, Hutch Lockleair of Zebulon; sisters, Doris L. Bell, Alice L. Wall, both of Raleigh, and Norma L. Perry of California; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Perry; son, Wesley Earl Perry; brothers, G.T. Lockleair and Solon Lockleair; and a sister, Mary Lockleair.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park, Suite 10, Raleigh, NC 27615.
