CLYDE W. WILLARD
STUART, Va. - Clyde Walmer Willard, 78, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 16, at 2 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart, Va., with the Rev. Tommy Shepherd officiating.  Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

He was born in Winston-Salem to the late Boss and Mary W. Willard.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Garland and Charles Edward Willard. 

Surviving: wife, Mary Lou Bryant Willard of the home; son, Jeff Willard of Louisburg; daughter, Kathy Honeycutt of Holly Springs; three brothers Herman Willard of Axton, Va., Vance Willard of Axton and Gifford Willard of Panama City, Fla.; two sisters, Betty Hunt and Barbara Hall, both of Stuart; three granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, North Carolina 27017.  Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
