WAKE FOREST - Dorothy Fitch Varney, 73, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011 at Wake Med. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center at a later date.
She was born in West Virginia, the daughter of the late Russell and Blanche Davis Fitch.
Surviving: husband, James Varney; children, James Russell Varney (Tammy), Thomas Wesley Varney (Lisa) and Ronald Lloyd Varney, all of Wake Forest, Mark Anthony Varney of Youngsville; four grandchildren.
