THOMAS A. KEARNEY
WAKE FOREST - Thomas Allen Kearney, 63, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011 at his home. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Franklinton Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. David Averette officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery.

He was born in Franklin County, the son of the late Jessie Irene Hedrick Kearney and Troy Blair Kearney. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Kearney; sisters, Shirley K. Oakley, Betty K. Mendenhall and Barbara Jeane Kearney.

Surviving: wife, Deborah Caudle Kearney; daughters, Sabrina K. Swann (Jeremiah) of Louisburg, Stephanie Garrett of Franklinton, and Kelly Centerbury of Ohio; sons, Brad Kearney (Tina) of Franklinton, Ray Sambor (Beverly) of New Jersey, and Jason Timberlake (Alene) of Raleigh; sisters, Nancy Kearney Redman of Crew, Va., and Sara Kearney Moody of Raleigh; brother, Howard A. Kearney (Dalua) of Creedmoor; and 12 grandchildren.
