BALLARD G. “B.G.” BRAGG II
FRANKLINTON - Ballard Greene “B.G.” Bragg II, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011 at his residence. Funeral service was held Monday, Feb. 7, at Glen Royal Baptist Church, with the Rev. Robert Faile officiating. Burial followed in the Brassfield Baptist Church cemetery.

He was born in Granville County, son of the late Mabel Averette Bragg and James Vernon Bragg Sr. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carole Bragg Garner. He was former owner and operator of Specialty Tool Service in Raleigh for 27 years.

Surviving: wife, Christine B. Bragg; son, Barry Michael Bragg (Ashley) of Raleigh; daughter, Michelle B. Witz (Eric) of Rolesville; brothers, Gerald Bragg (Arlis) of Rocklin, Calif., Vernon Bragg Jr. (Vivian) of Franklinton, Tyson Bragg (Shelia) of Kittrell; sisters, Linda Gordon of Atlanta, Betty Harmon of Sullivan’s Island, S.C.; and three grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Glen Royal Baptist Church, 731 Elizabeth Ave., Wake Forest, NC 27587.
