ALRIDGE A. RENN
HENDERSON — Alridge A. Renn, 82, of the Epsom Community, died Thursday, March 10, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 13, at Liberty Christian Church, conducted by the Rev. Tammy Ayscue. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Born in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Channie Aldridge Renn and Carmen Tharrington Renn.  He was a graduate of Epsom High School and served four years in the U. S. Navy. He retired after 48 years with the North Carolina Department of Environment, Health and Natural Resources.

Surviving: sisters, Eris R. Lindsey of Burlington and Betsy R. Edwards (Talmadge) of Louisburg; brother, Ronald T. Renn (Laney) of Henderson; many special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Renn and W.J. Renn.

The family will receive friends Sunday immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall. All other times they will be at the home, 7890 NC Hwy. 39 S., Henderson.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the Liberty Christian Church, c/o Joyce Ayscue, 199 Epsom-Rocky Ford Road, Henderson, NC 27537.

Arrangements are by Flowers Funeral Home.
