REBECCA M. NODDEN
RALEIGH - Rebecca Morton Nodden, 80, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011 at Rex Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel.

Born in Franklinton, she was the daughter of the late King Duncan Morton and Susie Ella Peace Morton. She graduated  as Salutatorian of her senior class. She worked the last 20 years at Al Smith Buick. She was a member of Franklinton Methodist Church.

Surviving: daughters, Wendy Leigh Harris of Raleigh and Kimberly Harris Cole of Centennial, Colo; brother, David Earl Morton (Shirley) of Raleigh; and one granddaughter.

Flowers are welcomed or memorial contributions may be made in the deceased’s name to NAMI North Carolina, 309 W. Millbrook Road, Suite 121, Raleigh, NC 27609-4394 or Alzheimer’s Association Eastern North Carolina Service Area, 3737 Glenwood Avenue, Suite 100, Raleigh, NC 27612.
