PAULINE RAY WHITAKER
YOUNGSVILLE - Pauline Ray Whitaker, 89, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006 at Hillside Nursing Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, Nov. 11) in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Randy Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in the Harris Chapel Baptist Church cemetery.

Mrs. Whitaker was born in Franklin County, daughter of the late Ivie Privette Ray and Fred Ray. She was a homemaker and member of Harris Chapel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W.Z. Whitaker Sr.; son, W. Z. Whitaker Jr.; brothers, Ervin Grady and Carl Ray; sisters, Ruth Oakley and Eleanor Ray.

Flowers welcome or memorial contributions may be made to Harris Chapel Baptist Church Building Fund, 2960 Tarboro Road, Youngsville, NC 27596.
