FRANKLINTON — Ben Louis Barnette, 54, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011 at Hospice at the Meadowlands in Hillsborough. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, with the Rev. Carl Hunter officiating.
Surviving: son, Craven Jackson Barnette of Youngsville; parents, Ben & Cornelia Barnette of Franklinton; two aunts and uncles; five cousins; and former wife, Brenda Barnette of Youngsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Duke Home Care & Hospice, Office of Development, 4321 Medical Park Drive, Suite 101, Durham, NC 27704 or to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 1245 Mt. Olivet Church Road, Franklinton, NC 27525.
