RUTH B. HILL
YOUNGSVILLE - Ruth Bridges Hill, 94, died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011 at Hospice of Wake County. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, at Flat Rock Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gary McNair officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County to the late Tom and Zelma Bridges. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hill.

Surviving: son, John Hill; daughter, Carolyn (Douglas) Bailey of Youngsville; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Flowers welcome or memorial contributions may be made to Flat Rock Baptist Church, 1857 Flat Rock Church Road, Louisburg, NC 27549 or Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.

Friends may visit with the family at Bright Funeral Home, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Nov. 19.
