RALEIGH - George Frank Dale, 63, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Dec. 4, at 3 p.m. in the Wynne Center of Brown-Wynne (300 St. Mary’s Street), with family to receive friends following.
Born in Raleigh, he was the son of the late Hubert and Margaret Broughton Dale. He graduated from Broughton High School and attended Sand Hill Community College. He spent many years as a restauranteur.
Surviving: children, Joshua S. Dale (U.S. Army), Erin E. Dale of Raleigh and Laura Whitney Dale of Youngsville; brothers, Clark and Barry Dale; and sister, Julianne Ragsdale.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wake Medical Children’s Hospital.
