E. P. “BILLY” THARRINGTON
YOUNGSVILLE —The Rev. E. P. “Billy” Tharrington, 73, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest. Burial will follow in the Beulah Christian Baptist Church cemetery.

He was born in Wake County, son of the late Virgia Hailey Tharrington and Earlie Pugh Tharrington. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Hayes Tharrington.

Surviving: daughter, Donna Height (Albert Edward) of Zebulon; son, Ricky Tharrington (Connie) of Youngsville; sisters, Mary Etta Fowler of Zebulon, Janie Fay Stewart and Shirley VanLuven, both of Wake Forest; brother, Ernest Tharrington of Youngsville; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary’s Cross Baptist Church Building Fund, 1809 Hwy 98, Louisburg, NC 27549.

Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main Street, Wake Forest.
