FRANCES A. TUCKER
ZEBULON - Sarah Frances Anderson Tucker, 78, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006 at her home. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Zebulon Baptist Church. Burial followed at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.

She was born in Richmond, Va., the daughter of the late William John Anderson and Sarah Frances Samuel Anderson. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. George Franklin Tucker. Mrs. Tucker spent a great deal of time working with the elderly, as well as caring for the homebound.

Surviving: two children, Kimberly Jane T. Schley (William) and Kelly Ann T. Pittman; sisters, Maude Dance and Meril Strang, both of Richmond, Va.; two brothers, Norman Anderson of Waynesboro, Va., and Roger W. Anderson (Esta) of Williamsburg, Va.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by three brothers, William, Linwood and Leslie Anderson, and two sisters, Lavonia Bailey and Ruth Lehman.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Zebulon Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 366, Zebulon, NC 27597; or to the ministry of the Frances A. Tucker Willing Workers Class at the same address; or to Hospice of Wake County, 1300 St. Mary’s St., Raleigh, NC 27605.
