JOHN C. GOODWIN
FRANKLINTON - John Clifton Goodwin, 50, died Thursday, April 13, 2006 in a Henderson hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 15, in the Franklin Funeral Service chapel in Franklinton, with the Rev. Clyde Waiden officiating. Burial will be in the East Palmyra Cemetery in Newark, N.Y.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

Born in Albion, N.Y., he was the son of Florence Ethel Goodwin Youngs. He was an electronics technician and served in the U.S. Air Force as an air traffic controller.

Surviving: his wife, Janet Harley Goodwin; son, Eric Goodwin of Lockport, N.Y.; stepsons, Michael Devall of Franklinton and Chad Crannel of Louisburg; stepdaughter, Jennifer Devall of Newark, N.Y.; his mother of Lyndonville, N.Y.; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
