C. VANN CHAMPION
LOUISBURG - Charlie Vann Champion, 80, died Thursday, April 13, 2006. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 16, at the Wester family cemetery.

He was a son of the late Charlie Emmitt and Alice Henry Leonard Champion. Mr. Champion was preceded in death by his wife, Rose W. Champion. He was a member of the N.C. Sheriffs’ Association.

Surviving: his daughter, Brenda C. Bryson of Wilkesboro; brother, Sid Champion of Louisburg; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 7-8:30 tonight (Saturday) at Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin Street, Louisburg, and other times at the home of Sid and Shelba Champion, 1377 White Level Road, Louisburg.
