JESSIE V. HUNT
September 6, 1932 –April 22, 2012
LOUISBURG – Jessie Mae Valentine Hunt, 79, of Louisburg, died Sunday morning.

Jessie was a daughter of the late William Henry “Willie” and Mable Arnita Rowe Valentine. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Clarence “W.C.” Hunt; her brothers, John “Buck” Valentine, Perry Valentine, and Dollie Valentine; and her sister, Ida Valentine Wood. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Jessie is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Larry Hunt, Barry and Sue Hunt, all of Louisburg; her daughter, Lane Valentine Hunt of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Belinda H. Anastasi of Wake Forest, Wayne Hunt of Louisburg, Brian Hunt of Raleigh, Brittany Hunt of Louisburg; her great-grandchildren, Caitlin Lewis and Anthony Anastasi of Wake Forest; her sister and brother-in-law, Dovie Valentine and Elmo May of Louisburg; her brothers and sister-in-law, Claude Valentine of Graham, Carl and Patricia Valentine of Fredericksburg, VA.

A graveside service was held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lancaster Memorial Park. The family received friends immediately following the service.
