HAZEL O. WILSON
FUQUAY-VARINA—Hazel Oliver Wilson of Oak Hill Living Center died Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Wake Medical Center. Services will be held at Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

She was born in Wake County to Clyda King Oliver and Jimmy Washington Oliver. She was employed by Cornell Dubilier Electronics for 30 years. She also worked for 15 years at Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church Daycare until her retirement in 2000.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Henry” Wilson; brother, Luther Oliver; and sisters, Evelyn Powell, Zoie Foster and Mary Dutton, of Nashville, Tenn.

Surviving: sister, Billie Joyce  Brown; sons, Donald Wilson of Louisburg; daughters, Joan Holland (Ed) of Louisburg, Judy Zeller (Jim) of Apex, Jean Maiden (Larry) of Cary; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Flowers will be graciously accepted in Mrs. Wilson’s honor, as well as donations to be made to Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church Wee Care Program.

Arrangements are by Williford Funeral Home in Fuquay-Varina.
