RUTH S. LEE
WAKE FOREST - Ruth Snyder Lee, 92, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at William M. Dunlap Center. A celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 27, at Unity Baptist Church, Youngsville.

She was born in Roanoke County, Va., to the late Clyde M. Hairfield Sr. and Essie Rosetta Hylton. She was a graduate of National Business College in Roanoke, Va., and retired from Trejay in Youngsville.

Surviving: children, Robert H. Snyder (Linda) of Graham, Francis N. Snyder Jr. (Alma) of Wake Forest, Richard D. Lee (Marie) of Wilson Mills, Milton L. “Skip” Snyder (Kaye) of Wendell, Randy Lee of Wake Forest, Alan K. Snyder (Nancy) of Morrisville and Julia Brown (Gary) of Youngsville; siblings, Louise Mattera, Barbara Moyer and Gary Hairfield; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Francis N. Snyder Sr. and Charles Richard Lee; one grandson; sister, Carolyn Sue Weeks; and brother, Clyde M. Hairfield Jr.

Memorial contributions can be made to Unity Baptist Church, 6348 NC 96 Highway West, Youngsville, NC 27596.

Friends may visit with the family one hour before the service at the church.
