VERNON “V.C.” CANNADY
BUNN - Funeral services for Vernon “V.C.” Cannady, 61, who died Friday, May 25, 2012, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church in Bunn, with Elder Sylvester Cooke officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church cemetery in Youngsville.

Surviving: daughters, Carline Horton of Bunn, Tina Baines of Louisburg, Tonya Montague of Bailey and Lynnette Cannady of Nashville; mother, Annie Mae Cannady of Louisburg; sisters, Carrie Gupton, Annie Bumpers and Ailen Cannady, all of Franklinton, Shirley Cannady of Newark, N.J., Gloria McKnight of Kittrell, Sadie Cannady, Mary Cannady and Laura Foster, all of Louisburg, Myrtle Joyce Cannady of Youngsville and Stacy Dewar of Raleigh; brothers, William Cannady, Charles Cannady and Sherman Cannady, all of Franklinton, Lee Cannady of Youngsville and Steve Cannady of Louisburg; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
