LORRAINE A. COOPER
LOUISBURG - Lorraine Ayscue Cooper, 84, of Louisburg died Monday, May 28, 2012, at her home.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Berry Cooper, Jr.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel, with the Rev. Mark Tondee officiating.  Interment will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park. 

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Alvis and her husband, Ricky of Louisburg, Pam Gower and her husband, Don of Raleigh, Sharon C. Freeman and Rebecca Cooper, both of Louisburg; her son, Joseph B. Cooper and wife, Judi of Louisburg; four grandchildren, Susan Alvis Weathers, Elaine Alvis Grice, Craig Freeman and Chris Freeman; and four great- grandchildren; her two sisters, Edith Caviness and her husband, Grady of Burlington, Betty Jean Overton and her husband, Hartwell of Concord, NC; and one brother, Hoket Ayscue of Oxford.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery and at all other times at the home, 324 Bennett Perry Road, Louisburg.  Online condolences may be made to www.lancasterfcs.com.
