EDWARD A. KANTNER
RALEIGH - Edward Allen Kantner, 80, died Monday, June 11, 2012. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at Mitchell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service until 3 p.m. Burial will be in Raleigh Memorial Park.

He was born in Schuylkill Co., Pa. He was retired from IBM after 39 1/2 years as an engineering manager and also worked for ITT Cannon for several years.

Surviving: wife, Noriko Kantner; sons, Edward A. Kantner Jr. (Eve) of Raleigh, Jeff Kantner (Teresa) of Raleigh; daughters, Karen Rezeli (Dave) of Bunn, and Cheri Gallagher (Bob) of Wake Forest; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC.
