ELMA H. BOWEN
ZEBULON - Elma Lee Hedgepeth Bowen, 79, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012. A private memorial service was planned at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Zebulon.

She was born in the Township of Falkland in Pitt County, daughter of the late Herman Lee and Llewellyn Harris Hedgepeth. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Erma Lee Hedgepeth; brother, B. F. Hedgepeth; and her husband, Wilbur Bowen.

She was retired from Mayview Convalescent Center in Raleigh as Food Service Director  after 25 years of service.

Surviving: daughter, Debrah Lee (Brad) Hild; brother, Bob (Carolyn) Hedgepeth of Rocky Mount; sister, Margaret (Larry) Jones of Whitakers; and one granddaughter.
