MADIE LEAN JONES BREWER
BEDFORD, VA - Madie Lean Jones Brewer, 88, of Bedford, VA, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Born December 8, 1923 in Louisburg, NC, she was a daughter of the late Zachus Jones and Mamie Radford Jones.

In addition to her parents, Madie was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Creighton Brewer; her son, Brantley Creighton Brewer; her brothers, Ashley Jones and “T Model” Jones; and a sister Lynn Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Becky Blankenship and husband, Jack of Bedford; grandchildren, Brian Yatsko and wife, Jennifer, and Spencer Blankenship and wife, Bonnie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Quaker Baptist Church, 4665 Chestnut Fork Road, Bedford, VA 24523.

A memorial service was conducted 7 PM, Friday, August 24, 2012 at Quaker Baptist Church with Pastor David Timma officiating. Condolences may be sent online at www.tharpfuneralhome.com. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, VA, (540) 586-3443.
