DONNEL HAYWOOD SR.
YOUNGSVILLE - The Rev. Donnel Haywood Sr., 62, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Wake Forest. Burial will follow in Pine Forest Cemetery in Wake Forest. The family will receive friends from 1-1:30 p.m. Friday at the church.

He was born in Wake County to the late Percy Haywood and Lucille Hunter. He was a graduate of Dubois High School in Wake Forest and was owner/operator of Pies & More of Wake Forest and Franklinton.

Surviving: wife, Lucy Haywood of the home; children, Donnel Haywood Jr. of Youngsville, Travis Haywood of Baltimore, Md., Latonya Pender of Kenley, Patrice Haywood and Claudia Haywood, both of Youngsville; brothers and sisters, Catherine Maxey, Willie Jean Edwards, Bruce Allen, Alice Brodie, Valerie Brodie, all of New York, Edward Allen of Upper Marlboro, Md., Robert Lee, Earl Wiggins, Janisa Pullen, Kathy Wiggins and Denise Wiggins, all of Raleigh, Ernest Wiggins of Wendell, Stella Jean Wiggins of Rhode Island; and 10 grandchildren.
