LOUISBURG - Edna Roberson Smith, 74, of Louisburg died Sunday, January 7, 2007 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday from Louisburg Baptist Church, where she was an active member, conducted by the Rev. Reggie Rushing. Entombment followed in the Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Surviving: her husband of 57 years, Milton E. Smith; daughter, Nancy S. Gilbert and husband Doug of Louisburg; sons, Noel Smith and wife Charlotte of Chesapeake, Va., Tommy G. Smith and wife Sue of Louisburg, Timmy Smith and wife Pam of Louisburg; grandchildren, Nicole Hensen, Brandi Smith, Tommy Smith, Patrick Smith, Duane Smith, Adam Smith, Amanda Gilbert and Wayne Gilbert; great-grandchild, Alysha Smith.

The family received friends from 7 to 9 Monday at Louisburg Baptist Church.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Louisburg Baptist Church, P. O. Box 730, Louisburg, NC 27549.
