CECIL B. COLLIE
FRANKLINTON —Cecil Bell Collie, 72, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012 at his home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

He was born in Nash County to the late Eddie Wilson Collie Sr. and Mary Lula Collie. He was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves and worked as a diesel mechanic with Barnes Truck Lines in Wilson for over 20 years.

Surviving: children, Jimmy Collie (Katrina) of Franklinton and Mary Matilda Collie Hatley (Chris) of Franklinton; former wife, Betty Collie Hinton of Franklinton; siblings, Louise Williams of Rocky Mount, Joseph “Dick” Collie of Raleigh, Eddie Wilson Collie Jr. of Kinston, Johnny Collie of Wilson, Tommy Collie of Sharpsburg, Betsy Byrd of Raleigh, Helen Land of High Point; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, William Collie, Paul Collie, Annie Belle Pollard and Earl Collie.
