SHIRLEY S. INSCOE
BLOWING ROCK - Shirley Marie Stainback Inscoe, 76, formerly of Louisburg, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at Davant Medical Center in Blowing Rock.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 19, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Louisburg. The family will receive friends following the service and at other times at the home of Lee and Mary Leigh Inscoe.

She was the eleventh child of the late Murtie Lee and Nora Mae Ayscue Stainback. She was preceded in death by sisters, Nell Hope and Pearl Moss; and brothers, Bo, Carl and Milton Stainback.

Surviving: Irvin “Buddy” Inscoe; son, Lee Inscoe (Mary Leigh) of Louisburg; daughter, Lisa English of Boone; sisters, Annie Mae Fuller, Elaine Reavis, Polly Averette (Gilbert) and Mary Pearce; brother, George Stainback (Betsy Rose); six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
